Nottinghamhire Creatives invite you to join them in a series of Open Studios Notts events during May weekends. This selected exhibition gives you a taste of the diverse range of works on offer.

As part of the broader Oxfordshire Artweeks, 26 Artists are exhibiting their work in and around the beautiful Oxfordshire town of Charlbury. Including painting,woodblock and lino printing, ceramics, jewellery, photography, sculpture and illustration you can pick up a local trailmap at the station or library and plan your own tour.

As part of the Derbyshire Open Arts weekend 15 Banks Mill artists will be showcasing their work to the public, including fine art, photography, illustration, ceramics, jewellery, textiles and fashion design.
You can visit the mill in Derby City Centre to see a variety of artists in their studios, all of whom will be happy to talk about their work and what inspires their creations.

'Vibrant' 'naive charm' and 'fun' are just a few of the ways the work of Spanish architect and designer Antoni Gaudi has been described and this unique workshop gets you to bring these qualities to life through creating your own art work.

Artist CHERYL GREENE is opening her studio at 'The Gallery' on 11-12, 18-19 & 25-26 May, 10am to 4pm. Cheryl is a painter and textile artist of landscapes and flowers using acrylic, mixed media and textile techniques.
Also open nearby on 18-19 May, 10am to 5pm, is ceramic artist PAULA BRIGGS(see separate entry).

Painter JONATHAN ANNABLE & ceramicist EMMA GLADWIN of contemporaryfineart.co.uk will open their studios on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May. Their media include painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, jewellery and felt. There will be demonstrations of painting and ceramic being made plus felt making during the weekend.

Second of 2 weekends. Visitors can view the emptying of newly fired wood burning kiln and take part in Raku firing sessions - decorate a pot, see it fired and buy it for a small sum. Continuing display of wood fired ceramics (with the new work) by members of the group.

Artists at 3 venues - Jayne Hale at the Bull Yard Galllery, Chris Rumsey & Viv Payne at Southwell Library and Peter Dworok at the Barn Gallery. Displays of artwork at all 3 venues through May. Plus - 25/26 May: Chris Rumsey & Viv Payne will demo clay handbuilding techniques at Southwell Library. 25 May: Jayne Hale will be at the Bull Yard Gallery. Peter Dworok at Barn Gallery throughout.

'Little Things Mean a Lot' - An exciting display of small scale affordable Textile Art by 6 Artists: Anne Menary, Diane Gilder, Peggy Fearne, Jo Owen, Ann Parkin and Lynne Garbutt. Open 11am - 5pm daily. Exhibition continues until June 2nd.
